First blog post

This is my first ever blog and i’m very excited to share my website finally with you. I’d appreciate any feedback you might have. This website is to help reach a wider audience and spread the word of how good placenta encapsulation is. It is my new found passion to bring women these postnatal benefits which astound me every time I produce another yield of capsules for a new mummy. I love hearing what your experiences have been with your pills of power and will be there for you if you need any advice at any time during your first few weeks or months as a new mummy. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the services I do, love Jenny ❤

Recently in the USA, a one off case of Group B Strep (GBS) was detected in some placenta capsules. The baby had developed GBS immediately after the birth and then a secondary infection once home. However, there was no GBS detected in the breast-milk from the breastfeeding, so the query is how did the baby get the secondary infection? This case just shows how incorrect processing of a placenta can cause harm and they suspect incorrect temperatures were used to steam and dehydrate. As the baby became sick straight after the birth and admitted to a Special care Nursery, this placenta should never have been processed and consumed, until further testing was done to confirm if safe to process.

I know many of you may be concerned by this case. I can only try to reassure you again to find the right placenta specialist, with Gold Standard Training, such as The Association of Placenta Preparation Arts (APPA), you can be confident in the service provider with this training. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Find below the link for APPA’s rebuttal on this GBS case.
